Orienteering

A brilliant introduction to using maps and learning navigation techniques!

Orienteering can provide a bit of friendly competition, a team challenge, an opportunity to learn and develop navigation skills or simply a fun run around our 11-acre woodland. It is one of the few activities where young people are allowed to venture out in their own small groups (within our grounds) allowing for development in confidence and interdependence.

If your group would prefer to get offsite and explore the surrounding local area, we also have photo orienteering routes. These are brilliant and varied walks with lots of interest, which are navigated using photo books.
